At Home in the Heart
We're only really home
when we truly live in our heart,
the only here to fully inhabit,
in which to reside 'n abide.
For our heart is always home,
and home always our heart.
When we're led to the heart
that is our home,
no matter where we find ourselves,
we’re awake, at peace, and free
to savor the wonder of life.
It’s the only place to be,
the only sight to see…
ever so truthfully, beautifully, gracefully.
And for once we see right.
And it's good to finally see
love at first sight.
When the beautified eye of the heart
— the luminous sun within our core —
silently, wakefully shines,
brightening our soul
with its radiant gaze,
we behold 'n bless and bless 'n behold
all at once through our eyes.
Now the invisible feathered sun
lighting my heart’s golestan
kisses a family of golden flowers
appearing before me without,
each little flower a sun-lit beauty
adorned with fourteen-petalled rays.
And I delight in the light,
and the light delights in me,
and I feel at home in the heart
where the light so gracefully shines,
revealing heaven in wildflowers
and life in wondrous rhymes.
And my heart and my face
join in wondrous praise,
and I give thanks
and am all smiles.
