The Wondrous Garden of Living Mystery
Since you are already rooted,
be truly rooted.
The uprooted life is no life at all...
but lifeless persistence,
the inverted specter
of life fallen into perversity.
Since you are the bearer
of Light seeds of spiritual weight
become the true tree
you are called to be,
become the wondrous living tree
you are meant to be,
the true living tree
bearing true loving fruits
of spiritual intimacy
that contain light seeds
of spiritual weight.
Be flourished 'n flourishing,
O wondrous garden of living mystery.
And when the world wallows —
tossing and turning restlessly
faster and faster aimlessly
for its being uprooted and fallow —
and in its malnourished state
succumbs to angst and anger
and in madness despairs
and even the poisonous
fruit of pestilence swallows,
descending into delirium...
death
May the light seeds of spiritual weight
find their way into your soul,
in-spiriting 'n rooting her
into your earthen body,
filling her river veins
with the water of life,
coursing through 'n nourishing your land,
rendering it fertile ‘n ripe for delivery,
springing forth and shooting out...
and through your upright posture,
branching out in generous gestures,
blossoming forth in truthful words,
ripening through wholehearted dedication
into wholesome actions...
and flourishing in meaningful relationships...
May the fruits
of your labor be truly fulfilling,
the labor of Love, most timely 'n pure,
that has you pass away and be taken up,
into the Tree of Life most sure,
while leaving for the fellow creatures
of your blessed community
wholesome, living witness fruits
bearing seeds of light...
Real Light seeds of spiritual weight
that bear truly wondrous witnessing fruit,
inspired invitations to Life beyond life,
living Hope, so pure 'n fair,
beyond all delusion, beyond all despair...
For Real Light seeds of spiritual weight
are certainly worth a lifetime's wait...
Now pronounces the Man of Praise,
upon him be peace till the end of days,
"even if Resurrection Day’s at hand,
while you've got a seed in your hand,"
do not give up, do not despair,
but "this very seed be sure to plant."
